"The Tech-Wise Family" by Andy Crouch is a good read for anyone who wants their family to be able to use technology within reasonable limits. The book is around 200 pages and covers topics such as:
1. The person who has not or does not want to experience solitude has little to offer when they speak.
2. Technology is only good if it helps us become the kind of people we are meant to be.
3. The need for true rest (that technology usually does not provide) from toilsome labor.
4. Importance of a good night's rest and taking a break from your phone.
The book is very readable, smoothly transitions from topic to topic, and is a good challenge to enjoy technology without becoming obsessed or controlled by it. I was given a review copy by Baker Publishing in exchange for a fair review.
